ZR Grade Pyro-Packing Fiber

Note: This is a variation of Pyro-Log Fiber & Pyro-Packing (2400ºF – 2600ºF Range).

Raw material for all Pyro-Bloc modules, Pyro-Log fiber is manufactured from a high purity blend of raw materials which are used to produce R Grade (alumina-silica), ZR Grade (alumina-zirconia-silica), and C Grade (alumina-silica-chromia) edge grained ceramic fiber blocks of varying sizes ancell nameensities.

Additional Information

  • Manufactured from Pyro-Log™ Fiber
  • Used to fill small gaps impractical al for standard module shapes
  • Available in uncompressecell nameensities from 8-15 pcf
  • Matches packing with density of surrounding Pyro-Bloc® Module lining
Pyro-Packing is used to fill gaps or small spaces in ceramic fiber module linings where standard shapes are not practical or cost effective. Manufactured by cutting pieces of monolithic Pyro-Log. Pyro-Packing is available in R Grade, ZR Grade and now in C Grade. Densities range from 8 pcf to 15 pcf which better match the surrounding Pyro-Bloc lining and offers higher densities when compared to traditional ceramic fiber blanket packing. A typical application would be to fill gaps or small spaces where standard shapes are not practical.
